Luigi Ito is a violist from Manila, Philippines. He attended the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music, and studied Violin with Mrs. Gina Medina-Perez and Voice under the tutelage of Mr. Ronan Ferrer. Luigi is a musician of multiple backgrounds, having experience in pop, jazz, classical, musical theatre, opera and contemporary worship music. Luigi is also a choral, studio and musical theatre singer, an orchestral and chamber musician and teacher in the Los Angeles area and is often seen around music circles playing in orchestras such as California Young Artists Symphony, Culver City Symphony Orchestra, American Youth Symphony, and Antelope Valley Symphony Orchestra. Luigi is an active chamber musician and has just participated in the Borromeo Music Festival held in Switzerland. He graduated with his Bachelor of Music degree in Viola in 2023 and he is currently pursuing his Master of Music degree in Viola Performance at CSUN. He is currently studying with Lorenz Gamma.
